What we love: hand-splattered cutoff chino shorts, knotted handkerchief.

We photographed Jacob last summer for Rugby. He’s one of the characters down at their University store in New York. While we were talking about his nautical artist look, he cited inspiration from author Ernest Hemingway who he was reading at the time. We find ourselves approaching personal style in much the same way—culling inspiration from our own style icons as the sartorial cocktail gradually becomes our own.
