Our Goodyear welted shoes will last almost as long as you do, if you take care of them. The key is in their ability to be recrafted. Over the course of nine weeks, your F.E. Castleberry shoes will undergo many of the same operations as when they were first made. Shoes are stretched over their original lasts (to retain shape and appearance), soles are replaced, welting, laces, and heels are replaced, and the uppers are refinished—they essentially look close-to-new again.
